Lead the interior design team across concept, schematic, design development, and construction documentation stages, owning quality and delivery on all assigned projects.
Drive the design narrative and material language for each project, translating the client brief into coherent, buildable interior solutions.
Plan and allocate workload across the team, manage timelines, and track deliverables against project milestones.
Review and approve interior drawing packages, joinery and finishing details, FF&E schedules, specifications, and material boards before issue.
Coordinate closely with architecture, MEP, and structural teams to ensure interiors are fully integrated with ceilings, services, lighting, and acoustics.
Manage relationships with suppliers, fit-out contractors, and specialist vendors, including sample reviews, mockups, and value engineering exercises.
Present design concepts and material selections to clients, and lead design workshops and coordination meetings.
Review shop drawings, RFIs, and contractor submissions, and attend site visits to verify execution quality against the approved design.
Run internal design reviews and maintain consistency in documentation standards across the team.
Mentor and develop interior designers at all levels through feedback, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
Contribute to bids, fee proposals, and project planning alongside senior leadership.

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture (Master's degree is a plus).
12+ years of experience in interior design and fit-out delivery, including a proven track record leading teams on large-scale projects.
Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (Egyptian Code, SBC, NFPA, International Standards) as they apply to interiors, fire safety, and accessibility.
Deep command of finishes, joinery detailing, lighting design principles, FF&E specification, and material performance.
Experience in hospitality and mixed-use projects is highly preferred.
Demonstrated leadership ability: delegating effectively, developing people, and holding a team to a consistent quality standard.
Strong presentation and client-facing communication skills, with the confidence to defend design decisions.
Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
